Item arrived with a huge dent on the back side of the monitor. Somewhat show in the picture, if you know to look for it. Would have been nice to mention this. That being said, I think it was made worse during shipping. Not sure if it was due to inferior handling or inadequate packing. Probably a bit of both. But I’ll keep it as positive feedback. Seller communication is a bit meh overall, but I’ve bought from before.

    User friendly with excellent features

    The Onkyo TX-NR6100 is an all around great AV receiver. This Onkyo model is the "base" model to experience certified THX sound. Easy to hook up speakers and subwoofer. So many options to choose from when fully utilizing the settings menu. Paired this receiver with Klipsch Reference and Reference Premier speakers/sub for amazing sound from my 7.2 channel configuration. The TX-NR6100 has Klipsch Optimized sound mode. This means by using the "speaker" option in the settings menu, the receiver automatically sets the crossover for each pair of speakers as well as the sub. Takes any guess work out of it for the end user! Super easy set-up, intuitive settings menu, and easy to understand and use remote control. Previously used an Onkyo TX-NR656 for the past 7 years, and I highly recommend making ...

    Far better than the old receiver

    Great sound and lots of features. The audio is in-sync with the video (unlike the old receiver) but it's also adjustable. I had a problem with the automatic setup of the speaker levels so I did it manually.

    Onkyo tx nr 6100

    I had this home theater system professionally installed and every time is is turned off and back on again, the receiver says to reset it. It will not retain the settings. The installer tried all his skills to correct this issue to no success. He told me that this receiver is faulty and needs to be replaced with another unit. I would like instructions on the return procedure. Please call me for additional details:

    Partially functioning

    Unit wasn't fully tested like claimed in the description. Wifi failed to function after every single possible way of Resetting, updating and forcing update via ethernet. Did not transmit 4k 120hz using the correct hdmi and after update and every reset attempt and proper hdmi input settings.
